The book was great...the series was great...but what about the movie...I haven't seen it yet (I know...where have I been) but of what I've heard it was great...whatdya think?

OMG!!!! The movie F-IN SUCKED!!!!! If there was any way to take a book and f it up when made into a movie, congratulations to the director you screwed up one of the greatest books in existence by making it a movie. And, they left out the VERY end. The most IMPORTANT part of the WHOLE book and they don't even bother to put it in the movie.

They better not screw up the 3rd book or I will butcher. Evil or Very Mad

I feel very strongly about the butchering of The Golden Compass and I left the theater very dissatisfied and ready to kill.

aww man..that sucks...I was soo looking forward to the movie because the books are so great...they left out the end!?!?! omg...this must really suck...I can't believe some people liked it...if it was so bad...but maybe they didn't read the book

probably not. but they twisted parts are too. like Svalbard came BEFORE Lyra went to the camp with the kids, which is wrong! Svalbard came AFTER the camp. *pouts*

seriously?!? I just re read the book because I finally got a hold of the DVD so I wanted to make sure I knew exactly what happened...are they going to make a movie for the subtle knife??

yeah. they're making all 3. Subtle Knife is supposed to be out next year sometime. The Amber Spyglass was my favorite though, so they better not f it up.

lol...well...seeing how they've already messed up the first one...I wouln't get your hopes up...I don't know if the golden compass or the amber spyglass is my fav...can't pick between the two...but it's been a while since I read the amber spyglass...think I'll just re-read the last 2 since I already re-read the GC...
