Hello!
IanRoxMySox

HI! I'm IanRoxMySox or if you hear anyone calling me Vampyress (nother forum name) or Craving(Nother site name) that's me also
Pet

Helllo.
I'm Pet =] thats pretty obvious...

volleyball huh? woah. i'm afraid i'm rather bella-esque when it comes to volleyball.  i usually end up hitting the ball beghind me tbh...
IanRoxMySox

I am trying out for volleyball...doubt ill make it, our schools kinda notorious for winning volleyball district and the girls in my school are really good and I'm not
Pet

i was on the tennis team when i was twelve =]
thats the extent of my sporting career...
IanRoxMySox

I competitive cheerlead
that counts
Pet

wow i've always wanted to cheerlead but we don't really do it here, not like every school or anything. it looks so much fun.

does horseriding count? lol. i can jump and do most dressage exercises and stuff.
IanRoxMySox

I have to drive an hour out of town to go to a good gym, so I get home around 11:30 after school, and cheer, 3x a week.
I do HW in the car, Change into cheer clothes in the car, & eat Taco Bell in the car.
Eh, the price for something you love.

on sun. we practice for 3 hours strait, but that's more fun than reg. days, although we have ALOT more conditioning
Pet

that sounds alot like me with brass music, except for i absolutely hate playing tuba, but my mom makes me. i have to go straight from school on a thursday to brass band and i don't get home til about ten. and on saturday mornings i wake up go straight out to concert band and i get home about lunchtime.  and then i have two hour lessons one with an intrument teacher and one with a tuba specialist. Its a whole load of fuss and tubas always have the worst parts in band music. lol.
i'lljumpforyou

hello there, nice to meet you.
just to avoid confusion, they also call me fanatic because of another forum name

OF COURSE HORSEBACK RIDING COUNTS! i've been defending the fact that it's a sport, and one of the hardest at that, for over 7 years now. i did 5 years of lessons in hunter/jumper.
IanRoxMySox

lol, you sound like me when someone says competitive cheerleading isn't a sport.
IT IS!!!
You sweat, you compete, you practice all the time, you work hard, you have coaches that push you to do better, and you get it shape.
What is there to say it isnt a sport?
Gymnastics is a sport, it's in the olympics (Coming 8.8.08, BTW) and I SHARED a gym with gymnasts, heck I WAS a gymnast for 2 years!
i'lljumpforyou

i know!
i've had it with people that say "you sit on a horse and kick it and it goes"
i'm like pffft, okay, you give that a try and then tell me how it goes.
Pet

lol. my mom always laughs and says how hard can it be? you just kick. but it is a lot of physical work, especially when you're on a lazy horse.

can anyone here ride western? thats my main goal to learn to ride western. lol.
i'lljumpforyou

no, i can't .
the whole no-noseband things freaks me out
but my cousin did it at one point.
i like jumping too much to go into western or dressage .
TheResistingHost

Hello everyone!
 Very Happy
Horseback riding? I'm afraid of that! Laughing
Pet

nahh horseback riding's not scary.  =]
falling off is part of the fun, and thats the worst that can happen!

unless you really injure yourself, but i have unusually good luck at making lucky escapes. =P
thehostwriter

don't jinx yourself with your cockiness honey... it could end badly sometime. I nearly got bucked off a horse... but the worst that's happened to me... A baby bull just getting his horns head butted me into a barn door.
Pet

you're right it probably will end badly. But i did drive a quad bike down a ten foot drainage ditch and survive, so i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed that my lucky streak holds up.  lol.

next up: CLIFF DIVING! (Y)
thehostwriter

haha, now that's fun. won't do it again, but it's fun!
Pet

you've been cliff diving!? wow! i'm really jealous lol.
thehostwriter

yeah... now that's a serious adrenaline rush. hehe
IanRoxMySox

I went cliff diving in Hawaii but unlike Symone I WANT to do it again

In the middle of falling you're like, "I should have hit the water by now" Then about a couple seconds later u hit it and you're like "OH!!! That was longer that I expected"
I went and did it again after that. te-he  Very Happy
WishingWantingWilling

IanRoxMySox

Thats ok, wishen you wont  have to jump!

we'll just drag you in =D
i'lljumpforyou

it's all good wishing.
i'll jump for you Very Happy
IanRoxMySox

te-he, you guys need to go cliff diving/jumping
thehostwriter

well, the only reason I won't do it again is because I almost landed on a rock... that's the only reason I won't do it again.
i'lljumpforyou

that seems like an understandable reason
IanRoxMySox

true....true.
I jumped into a DEEP, DEEP (maybe 30-40ft.) fresh water pool that had a waterfall in the back of it so there was no threat op impending rocks there Very Happy
WishingWantingWilling
