So be nice to me if i mess something up! pleeease. XD
i needed to do something to take my mind off the pending release of Breaking Dawn. So yeah. here i am =]
ummm i'm female, english, 16 in a couple of weeks, i loved twilight but i love the host more... i absolutely love reading.

hey...welcome to the forum...I'm pretty new myself...just joined a few weeks ago...=)...I haven't been able to choose whether I like Twilight or The Host more...what made you choose the host?

ummm... it was a tough call, but i just thought it was written better if only slightly.
i also think the relationship between Bella and Edward is a little... spontaneous, it's like they meet, he makes it quite clear he hates her (so she thinks) and then all of a sudden she's in love with him.
I think at least in The Host , Mel's body has loved Jared for a long time, and so Wanderer has an excuse for loving somebody she barely knows. And the Ian/Wanda relationship is formed through a whole lot of trust on both sides...
At least... thats my opinion.
lol.

wow...nice explanation...you've swayed my opinion...but I don't know if I'm fully ready to commit to that...wow...it sounds like I'm marrying the book...=)

helloo there.
name's i'lljumpforyou (taken from a tokio hotel song) but if you hear anyone referring to "fanatic" that's me also, but a nickname from a different forum. i'm a girl, from canada, and i love stephenie meyer novels. and harry potter novels. and reading in general.
personally, i think i still like twilight better, i was never really a sci-fi kind of person and where i absolutely adored the host it doesn't have as much feeling in it as say, a vampire romance. but your point about the coupling is very good, which is why i have to say i might like ian and wanderer better then i like edward and bella.
