i saw it last night at 10:00!
i LOVED it.
although there weren't NEARLY enough cute edward scenes
and bella leaving charlie BROKE MY HEART .
but it was still so AMAZING they haven't yet invented a name for it .

It's not perfect, of course. But good enough for a film based on an amazing book.
By the way, there's a scene where SM got to show up. It's pretty funny, though nobody else in the theater seemed to know her except for me. I was almost screaming

I really loved it!!
I loved that Steph got to be in her movie, that had to be special for her.
The one thing that seemed cheesy was Edward in the sun...
But I have just never seen another movie like that one before!!
I can't wait for New Moon.
I know I will be crying.

I think it sucke cuz too many things were cut out or changed and everything happened to fast in the movie. It would have been better if so many things werent changed and if the pace was a bit slower.

Yeah I know what you mean.....
I know it wasn't anywhere near as good as the books, but I still very much enjoyed it. I really do wish it was a slower pace also...
I mean they could have made that movie three hours and people still would have gone to see it. XD

I had two favorite parts.

My first favorite is the baseball scene. My second favorite is when Edward brings edward over to meet his family and everyones in the kitchen. Emmet's wave is cute Very Happy

And then there's the scene at the end showing Victoria. That was awesome and mysterious. And I think Victoria is actually a bit prettier than Rosalie in the movie.

I think they did pretty good on the casting. Rob sucks as Edward- not nearly pretty enough. Taylor's not that great looking either (wtf was up with the hair?) but he played the character really well. Carlisle is kind of strange looking. Hmmm. Everyone else was fine, I think. Except for Charlie. Where were his signature curly locks? D =

Also, what was up with them eating at the diner every night? Didn't the whole book kind of revolve around Bella's cooking? lol

I loved all the casting... I think they did an amazing job with it....
Except Charlie... I didn't picture him looking like that at all.

But really, I am glad they're going to keep him. It wouldn't have been fair to throw him out and keep everyone else (Especially Solomon. I think he's kind of tiny to be playing Sam). Plus, he really does play the role well and I'd rather have someone a little small do a good job than a monster butcher the part.

Details are never right in movies made from books. Why is that? Why is a conversation in a car not good enough? Why is internet research alone not good enough? Why throw in a random character just so he can be killed by evil vampires that aren't supposed to show up yet? I wish that good books could be made into movies that are illustrations of all the little pieces that make those books great. And why didn't they mention Jasper's special ability? Are they going to bring that up really late into the movie series? Of course, I think it would have been better with better acting. It was pretty terrible sometimes, really.
