Sequel?So, who here wants a sequel and what do you think would be in the sequel?

i would love a sequel, and stephenie meyer said she's thinking about making it into a trilogy didn't she?
the few fanfictions that are out there, are all Wanda's pregnant, lalala... lol. And i think Stephenie could make that quite interesting, but i think it would be better if it followed a completely different character... like Burns. Someone we barely know. Cause i think the story of Ian and Wanda has it's happy ending, and yeah its pretty completed.

agh...I feel bad saying no...but as much as I love this book and want to see more of it...I think it might ruin the story if we try to strecht it out... but then again I love the book...as hard as it is saying no to a sequel... stephenie will get time to write other books...and if we stretch out the story it might just end up ruining it...so I want her to write another book... but not neccesarily a sequel...though it's okay if she does...I just don't think it's necessary

i would love a sequel, but she would have to be careful not to ruin it. she said she had a prologue and epilogue written up for two more books tho.

Hmmm.....I could probaly handle the preg. part but I doubt SM will do anything like that in her books.

I really hope SM makes 'The Soul'!!!!! Only i think ((even tho i love him and he is amazing)) Jamie should be kidnapped only he HAS to come back! yes and the other pplz in the hidding have a gurl who is 13 and falls in love with Jamie. and

I HOPE she's making this a trilogy, for her sake.... or else there'd probably be a riot demanding she make more books. I'd be there. 
But I agree that it shouldn't focus on Wanda, cuz she kinda got her happily-ever after, so it'd kinda be boring if it was about her... unless it moved onto Burns?
By the way.... am I the only guy here?

There is a possibility that the sequels won't be as good as the first, but how can I say no? I'd probably die from happiness if she writes more.
But I can't imagine how the sequels are about Wanderer. I think she has her happy ending. Maybe... if the first book is about a soul living with the humans then maybe the second book will be about a human living in the souls world? Like the human child in that soul family...
Or... Wanderer gets captured? And she has to convince the other souls that they have to give the bodies back. And then the seekers will fight...
Oh well. Just my imagination

I know. I'm afraid she won't do it again with all the hullabaloo that went around with Renesmee, but if I know Stephenie like I think I do, I bet she will. Especially since she claims to write for herself and it's obvious she likes making parents out of her favorite characters. And with the backup from the Twilight Moms... I think there's a good possibility that someone will be having some babies in the sequel/s.

I doubt she will. She said before that she chose 'Renesmee' because Renesmee needed a unique name to fit her unique breed. Ian/Wanda-Jared/Melanie babies would be completely normal, species-wise. I think. I don't think being invaded by a soul alters your genetic makeup at all, only your personality through a sort of hypnotization.

You know how SM said that people she liked would have to die in sequels? Well, I was thinking about that the other day... and I got the dreaded feeling that she was going to kill Kyle. I can't shake it. I think Kyle is going to die and I am worried. I think he'll go out like a hero, for sure. Saving a baby or something (maybe his and Sunny's?) but he's still going to go out. I don't want him to die!!

?? she did that in the twilght series! y not in the host?
and if u say no 2 a sequel think about it. in twilight any of thos books cood hav ended but sh kept going and they were still good! She shood definetly rite a sequel!

in new moon it wood havtotally sucked if it came from jacobs POV! (cuz i dont like jacob hehe i cood barely stand him in breaking dawn)

I would love a sequel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I read on another fansite about whether or not sm should make a sequel and what it should be about...and they were talking about burns being like an undercover seeker and he turns the remaining humans in and they end up escaping...blah blah blah..etc..
But yea it shouldn't be all wanda cause then it would get boring..cause in the host you have mel & wanda (((OOPS WAS THAT A SPOILER???)))...
