I guess we weren't told her name cuz she was known as the Seeker so that kind of stuck as her name maybe.

I felt bad for the seeker...but hated her all the same...I mean...even though Lacey was absolutely atrocious...Wanda had Mel in her head...and Mel could be a pain at times...and she was still fine...so I think that...the seeker kind of just gave up on everything once she met Lacey...life sucked for her...but she could have dealt better...with all the issues...

I hate the Seeker, but at the same time, she was kind of interesting. I wonder why she was different... how other souls have a hard time with her. My theory is that it's because her host is so obnoxious, and has influenced her a ton like Melanie did to Wanda. Now I wonder, if there'll be a sequel (which I hope there will!!! ahh!!!), Lacey will be REALLY annoying. Ugh. Can you imagine her? I mean, what're they supposed to do with her now?? Maybe she'll fall in love with someone from a different rebel cell and leave.

I'm all for the idea that Lacey will leave...then maybe they'll go on a raid, steal some cake and streamers and balloons...and throw a party...=)

I totally thought that someone should kill her WAY before Melanie suggested it. I wouldn't have had any problem with a murder. She was just UNREAL.
But I guess it's all forgiveable since her host was CRAZY.

yup...I agree...it's allll forgivable...actually...(and this is going to sound terrible)...but the more I think about...the more I kind of have no problem with seeker...but I bet if I re read the book I would hate her again...=)

The seaker was anoying, I imagine that Lacey's personality had something to do with it. It seems that the Soul picks up traits from the Host. As far as being Terrible or insane, well Lacey was traped in her own body For years with a parasite running things. And honestly she didn't seem crazy realy, just selfcentered etc. we never know how old she is, but i bet she's neer Mel in age.

Hm...that could be it. I agree with the self-centered part, but I was thinking that Lacy was more along the lines of attention-seeking? (After being neglected for so long, of course.)

I think she should have been squished. She was too obsessed with Melanie/Wanderer for my liking. If someone doesn't want you to bother them, you should respect that, you freak. Especially if your only reason for bothering them is that you want to prove something to yourself. That's very selfish and um... if someone did that to me I'd kill them ^.^
But yea, I think she was an attention-seeker (pun totally intended). Especially after she got her body back. She always had to be making a fuss about something, the fool. I'da been like "If you don't want to accept what we have here, feel free to go live under a cactus or make yourself useful and go find us an underground resort."
